PROJECT OF TRANSMISSION OF ENERGY MEDICINE OF HOMOEOPATHY FROM A DISTANCE   CONDUCTED BY THE CENTRAL COUNCIL FOR RESEARCH IN HOMOEOPATHY

(Abstract of Report submitted by the Clinical Verification Unit, Patna of the Central Council For Research In Homoeopathy)

Project of Transmission of Energy Medicine of Homoeopathy From A Distance was taken for clinical verification unit, NC-152, Gayatri Mandir Road, Kankarbagh, Patna vide letter no F.No. 1-15/97-96/CCRH/32-SAC/469 dated 19th November 1998.

As per the direction Project was started on 12th January 1999 by Dr.M.K.Sahani, Director, Research Institute Of Sahni Drug Transmission & Homoeopathy, Shivpuri, Patna. Dr.Sahni visited CVU on every Tuesday between 10.A.M. to 12 A.M. and patients visiting CVU were offered for clinical treatment to him.

This project was aimed as to ascertain the effectiveness of Homoeopathic energy medicine from a distance, using hair as medium.

Project staring from 12th January 1999 continued till 30th September 1999. Chief evaluators were Dr.M.N.Sinha DHMS(Pat) Dip. NIH(Cal), Research Officer In charge and Dr.S.D.Pathak DHMS (Pat), Assistant Research Officer., homoeopathy.

Patients visiting the Clinical Verification Unit of CCRH included both from rural and urban area in varying percentage. But the patient from the rural area are frequent visitor at the center. Patients from far away places are also visiting at the center.

Aims and objective of this project was to prove clinical verification of the remote application of medicine through natural medium of the patient. It was taken up only on trial basis to assess the effectiveness of the method.

Methodology adopted was as follow:

  1. Patients referred by the Research Officer at the CVU were taken up for application of this system.
  2. Case history were collected from the patients as per the case taking most classical to Homoeopathy.
  3. Each case history were analyzed for selection of proper rubrics for the selection of the Homoeopathic Medicines.
  4. Each case was repertosized using the RADAR software available at the RISDTH and a medicine was selected.
  5. A strand of HAIR was taken out either cut or uprooted from the head of the patient.
  6. Selected medicine was taken in fifty millisimal potency and diluted in water in a 5ml vial and ten stroke was given
  7. This vial is ready for putting the hair in it.
  8. Strand of hair taken out from the patient is inserted in the vial containing diluted medicine. This is termed as “Transmitting set”. It is put in safe cupboard after putting code number allotted to the patient.
  9. When the hair is put in the vial of transmitting set it is termed as Transmission “ON” and when the hair is detached from it is termed as Transmission “OFF”
  10. Patient was advised not to take any oral medicine, and report for progress after fifteen days.
  11. Follow-up progress was noted when the patient revisited the clinic after fifteen days.
  12. Homoeopathic observation of the case was followed up and change in medicine was made considering the action. Following changes were made depending on the result.
    1. No change in symptoms- ten stroke were given to the transmitting set.
    2. Positive progress- No change was made in the transmitting set.
    3. Aggravation in symptoms- Either hair was detached from the transmitting set  or waited without any change depending on the progress noted.
    4. Adverse changing symptoms- Transmission was put OFF and waited for change.
    5. When need of change in medicine was felt either due to wrong selection or for use of complementary medicine. Hair was taken out from the first transmitting set and inserted in the new transmitting set containing new medicine. Has to be properly wiped out before inserting in new medicine.
    6. Medicine used for transmission were selected from the general pool of the Homoopathic medicine in fifty millisimal potency.
    7. Principle of complementary, follow-up, inimical, antidote as per Homoeopathy was adopted.

Total number of patient taken up during the period were 164 out of which 74 were male and 90 were female. Follow-up was done in 489 instances out of which 195 were male and 294 were female.

Type of disease covered were 28 acute nature and 136 chronic nature.

Result were as follow:

Discussion
The working out of the project for nine month had lead to the various observation which require to be discussed:

1. Number of Patient

Number is not yet sufficient to conclude in right earnest. This require more collection of cases under the authenticated organization

2. Age

Patients of all age group treated by the drug transmission with very much satisfactory result.

3. Background Patients of all background Rural and Urban has shown remarkable action by the drug transmission irrespective of their background
4. Dietary Regulation

In contrast to the General belief and observation in Homoeopathy this method does not require any restriction Of diet, as the route of administration is not oral.

5. Type of disease Irrespective of the type
6. Result

Out of 164 cases 133 i.e. more than 80% of cases had shown improvements in various grade i.e. cures/mild/ moderate/marked. 22 cases i.e. 13.42% of the total discontinued the treatment out of disbelief and other compulsion.

7. Administration of Drug

This methodology provides total control to the physician in administration of drug. For cure a pinch remains at the Mercy at the patients who often becomes careless as Improvements sets in.

8. Cost effectiveness

The cost effectiveness is unquestionable as expenditure of medicine in administration is almost negligible.

9. Distance

The distance a great barrier for the routine Homeopathic consultation had been overcome in this methodology.

10. Aggravation/
Amelioration

The aggravation an important adjunct of Homoeopathic treatment can be dealt only by removing the hair from Transmission set.

CONCLUSION

The working of project for nine month it is proved that Energy medicine of Homoeopathy is quite effective even when applied from a distance using only hair as medium.

This project will prove gateway for many more research avenues in Homoeopathy system of Medicine.

This project may be undertaken at various other centers on a long-term basis.

Since Research Institute of Sahni Drug Transmission & Homoeopathy, Shivpuri, Patna is pioneer in this project may be involved and a center may be opened at their place.
